In one of his post he takes about how South Africans love to laugh at themselves. According to Max, this is a trait that has developed nation wide due to all of the hardships they have faced.
It's been said laughter is the best medicine. Humor and laughter strengthen your immune system, boost your energy, diminish pain, and protect you from the damaging effects of stress. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free, and easy to use.
- Laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.
- Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
- Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
- Laughter protects the heart. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.

Let's follow their example - let's laugh at ourselves:)
What has caused you laughter? If you see something humorous take a picture and send it to me and I'll post/share the humor in another post.
Have a glorious day and laugh.

MAXDOG IN SOUTH AFRICA
I love Friday Funnies that you can find all over the blog world. Life is so serious these days besides forgetting to laugh, some have simply lost the desire to smile.
This is a great reminder to relax and enjoy life!
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Laughter is the best medicine I need to take some! Going to check Max out!
Maxdog and his pack and family are very enjoyable. I enjoy watching the jacaranda trees bloom through Max's eyes.
I'll have to check that out!
