God has a sense of humor

Little K received a plastic bag with 2 sugar cookies in it for Halloween.  Not eating much sugar these days she gave the cookies to her wonderfully deserving parents.

We decided to have those cookies for dessert Sunday night.  I ate  mine right after dinner  but B decided he would wait and have his for a snack later.  He left the cookie on the table and didn't think anything more about it.

We went outside for a while and when we came back in we found this:

Jake, being a dog of opportunity tracked down the sweet treat and made it his.

Guess God had decided B didn't need that sugar cookie.

Dogs will be dogs :)

Just like my house! Toby is the opportunistic one here. I have learned to put the kitchen garbage pail on the counter every morning before I leave the house! Otherwise I return to a shredded trail of trash.... xoxo

I guess the cookies must have been too much of a temptation for the dog!

Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for stopping at my blog. God does have a sense of humor. We often comment on that at our house. I'm sure Jake enjoyed that cookie!

Hi again Sheryl!
I just realized I spelled your name wrong. My sister is Cheryl and that spelling automatically types out!

That Jake knows what's good. Gotta be quick around a dog.

Teach him to wait on eating sugar!

Tell him not to feel bad... Growing up, my Doberman ate 4 frozen T-bone steaks & 2.5 lbs of fudge while my mom was out shopping one day...
