Travel Day

We are on our way to Des Moines, IA for a Women Of Faith Conference. Dee and I are both volunteering for the first time at this event.

It rained and/or misted most of the way. I love my GPS, it took us straight to the convention center as if we lived there. It can even show us the local resteruants.

This is the look out our hotel window.

This is where we ate.

...and this is what I ate. The beans tasted so much better then they looked.

I am thankful for save travel and a great friend to share the road trip with.

This is where I slept, doesn't it look comfy.

Better go, I have to be at the conference center by 8:00-long day ahead me.
God Bless.

Getting caught up with you..... we were so busy this weekend raking, etc. and also being lazy......everything you did looks wonderful. I just love road trips and the Garman. I am humorously reminded when I am in NJ and my sister and I go somewhere and we talk back to "Jill", the Garman voice....... ooo....Yummy dinner!!! Steaks are really expensive in the supermarket lately........xoxo

Looks like you are having a fine time. And why wouldn't you with a GPS to guide you on your journey? I swear I could not find my own home without that lovely device. :)

Enjoy!
