Brunch

Brunch is probably one of my favorite meals, I love breakfast food. Sunday my sister and her daughter were here. Though plans changed later, when we woke up we were going out of town so we thought we'd have brunch at The Cracker Barrel before we head out.

I love the amnions of the restaurant.
This is the ceiling as you walk into the restaurant.
They have a wonderful little country store to shop in while you wait.

I love this fireplace with all it's antiques and memorabilia. During the winter it is very relaxing to watch the fire in the fireplace and listen to the crackling wood.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a cabin with a fireplace like that. During the winter you could cuddle up in a chair with a great book, a cup of tea and just dream away the day.

When was the last time you were served soda in a bottle? I couldn't resist an ice cold root beer in a frosty cold mug.

Here is my sister and her daughter. H will be going of to college this fall giving my sis an empty nest.

The chairs in the header picture are lined up the length of the building and are for sale. I'd love to have a couple on my front porch.

One of these days I'll tell one of my most embarrassing moments as a parent and it happened in a Cracker Barrel.

Oh Sheryl your header and mine are a pair of chairs!!! Great minds.... I LOVE CRACKER BARRELs!! On my epic 2006 road trip westbound on Rt. 90, my sister and I stopped at several along the way. I love the coziness there as well as the cute shop and the old fashioned candy!

This time when I checked your blog post I did NOT get the Twitter popup so your efforts were successful!!

There is one little cafe in town that has Orange Crush in bottles. My girls love it. They want to go there just for the soda.
