Walk the Walk

Be an example to the believers in word, in conduct,
in love, in spirit, in faith in purity.

1st Timothy 4:12

I receive a daily email devotion from Our Daily Bread, some devotions are more inspiring then others.

Not having to go into work until later today I was lounging in bed reading my emails from my phone. When I read today's devotion it hit hard - are we walking the walk or just talking the talk? To read the devotion click here.

It's easy to talk about faith but we must live out our faith, everyday, every moment. We must trust God completely.

For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Regardless of what is happening in our lives right now - we must cling to that verse. Many times we don't understand why the things happen to us and around us - we must cling to that verse.

If you are having a mountain top experience embrace it and thank God. If you're in a valley right now embrace it and thank God.

Show your faith - Walk the Walk.

Thank you. It is not always easy to walk the walk especially when it get hard to see the road. That's when we need the guiding hand.

Love this post! It is really hard to stay faithful when we are down in the depths and harder still to be thankful when we are at the top of our game! Thank the Lord for his word and his faithfulness to us! Love Our Daily Bread devotional by the way!

I am definitely in a valley today. We just found out this morning that my MIL has a stage 4 brain tumor. The road is very hard to see right now.
