No Parking?

I had a last minute luncheon date today with Big K, it was wonderful. We ate at the Olive Garden, I was surprised we had to wait on a Wednesday afternoon - go figure.

I had the Zuppa Toscana soup, salad, and bread sticks. I was trying a new soup and so glad that I did, I loved it. We had great conversation and continued to make plans for her move to the dorm - just 1 1/2 short weeks away.

When she came to pick me up she came into the office and announced that my limo was waiting. On my way out a coworker asked who had a white car. I said that it was my daughters, we're leaving for lunch, why?

Here's the reason he asked:

And here is her car:

Good job Big K, who taught you to drive?

Oh dear! It is quite a small sign though!

Perhaps she is just stopping and thus not in violation of the No parking sign!

Hoped on over here from Collette's blog.

Well, she's not quite up to the sign yet. Maybe it doesn't start for a few more inches!

Sheryl,

Thanks for stopping by tonight and leaving that great comment. Yes, I have been cheating a bit and perhaps that is why I am feeling it a bit more today than in days past.

I have decided to become a follower of your since I love what you write and how you write it.

How funny is that you also have a daughter named Kaitlyn who just turned 16. I told my hubby he will have to be the one to do the behind the wheel driving with her.

Heehee, to her defense, it is a tiny sign. :)

I love Olive Garden. I always get the ravioli de portabella (or however you spell it).. It's so fattening and good, but maybe I'll get the soup you had next time...

Lovin' the Olive Garden! Maybe she only thought it would be for a sec...right??

As far as the storm I guess we just hold on tight and rely on God's Shelter to protect us. Oh how I hate waiting;)
