"Not Me!" Monday

I DID NOT go to the breakroom with a container of crackers expecting to make a glass of iced tea.

I DID NOT go to my book club with out my book.

I DID NOT make my husband turn around and drive two miles back to my car to make sure I locked it.

I DID NOT run into Walmart thinking I go get by with out a cart.

I DID NOT find a spelling error on a comment and then post another comment appoligizing for my spelling error.

You really just have to laugh at life.

Pay It Forward

I just found a cute idea from a great blog call "All Rolled Up In One". I will send a gift (via snail mail) to the first 3 people who comment, agreeing to do the same "project" over at their blog. The blog says you'll get the gift within 365 days....I guess so you'll be surprised when you get the gift. I'm thinking it will take much less time than that. So....comment on my blog if you want "in." But please only comment if you are willing to pay it forward on your blog.

I can't wait to see what I am going to send to whom. What a great idea!

The Cupcakes

I received the following email from a dear friend and couldn't resist posting it.

Sometimes we wonder, 'What did I do to deserve this?' or
'Why did God have to do this to me?' Here is a wonderful explanation!

A daughter is telling her mother how everything is going wrong:
she's failing algebra; her boyfriend broke up with her and her best
friend is moving away.

Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she
would like a snack, and the daughter says, 'Absolutely, Mom , I love your cake.
'Here, have some cooking oil,' her Mother offers. 'Yuck,' says her daughter.

'How about a couple raw eggs?' 'Gross, Mom !' 'Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?' ' Mom , those are all yucky!'

To which the mother replies: 'Yes, all those things seem bad by themselves.
But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully
delicious cake!

God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go
through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts
these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to
trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He can live anywhere in the universe and He chose your heart.

I am finding out that "Not Me" is very addictive.



I did NOT start a Monday blog on a Thursday.

I did NOT go into work an hour later today so I could finish the book I was reading.

I did NOT go back and make several corrections in this small post before I published it.
